As Lisa finished the 15th song, I Believe To My Soul, they were joined by Sun Ra Arkestra and David Thomas and the 20 musicians played Starship. This proved to be the only song with which they worked together at this concert. The two bands who ostensibly shared no spiritual unity in the earlier performance are now shouting, singing, and playing all together on board sharing one spaceship. A free-form space jam which is about to break up in pieces in the Galaxy - but it did not.
Wayne Kramer, going to and fro between the players, begins to rap, to which all others instantly respond. David Thomas, swaying his huge body, roars like an Aborigine's music instrument, as if he, in himself, is one big musical tool. Where's Handsome Dick? What's he doing? There he is, in the back, looking a little awkward at first with a tambourine in his hand, but soon he begins to dig the vibe, relaxed and enjoying. I had no idea how this bizrre troupe are going to put an end to this, but, like a sheer miracle, they successfully achieved a feather landing on the Saturn! With a huge applause from the London audience they retreated from the stage in a line.
